I answered the call and they claimed they were Florida State troopers and that the call was recorded. Then he said, I'm sorry, thank you and hung up on me. The man sounded American, no accept of any kind. I am positive it's not a spoofed number from India as I blocked my number and called it back. Spoofed numbers don't lead you to the same voiced recording. Some people just make up stories and post them on here as fact. Sad really. Still, the Florida state troops do allow for the donations to be asked for, but most of the money stays with the telemarketers which is why I refuse to give.
