This is a "charity" by the loosest definition of the word. There are several of these groups who say they raise money for police, but are un-rated (or not even eligible to BE rated) by Charity Navigator. If you really want to support the police, check out the local PBA in your area. I have heard that some of the telemarketing "police associations" are 95% profit, and only 5% charity.
Received at least two calls this week. Caller ID showed "unknown" & no messages left on voice mail.
Just looked it up here and found a few complaints. So now I know to block.it.
