Typical scam attempt - if there really WAS a case filed against you, you'd have received lots of mail prior to this - and then a visit from a process server - who doesn't announce his arrival. Block the losers or ignore them if they call again.
I received a call and message from an African American woman named Patricia Miller. I returned her call and she said I have an outstanding loan debt from 2011 and that the Attorney General in my state would be pursuing it. I told her I never opened up a loan. She then stated where I work and told me it came out of my TD checking account. I told her I didn't have TD account and she became flustered and hung up. I called her back and asked why she hung up and she was still flustered and hung up again. So I texted the number and she replied and then I replied back saying how a real company would never text back bc they use landlines. I then texted this 904-930-4810 number this article about them being scam artists.
Just received call from same person claiming they bought note of a payday loan i took in 2013. And she threatened to garnish check. I have asked for proof and name with address of her company before we proceed
