A lady by name Morgan Lee left message in my telephone that there is a law suit pending against my name and gave me 72 hours to call this number. this is the second time I got the call from this number. this is an harassment by telephone and I think the Govt should take an action against these caller who are disturbing the US citizen and causing problem with the job.
Some black guy calling from an unknown number left me a message with a case number and his return phone number as being 904-964-7219 he identified himself as Paul Miriam or something and he was a process server out of my area. Apparently, he is serving me between 12 and 5 on Friday and also has my current place of business. He said if I or my attorney wanted to call and give a statement before Friday to please call 904-964-7219 and be ready with two forms of ID on Friday. When I called back the number some dude answered "This is Aaron." I have access to getting information on numbers and such at work and this phone number goes to an Active Landline registered to 'Ironwood'. I don't know what that is? I can't find any information about a Clinton's Office, Ironwood, or Paul in the city of Starke, FL or the entire state of Florida. Further there are no pending lawsuits against me per my county's records.
I thought you couldn't be served in reference to a debt. I thought wrong. I just got serve at job in front of my supervisor. Last time I come on here to read commits from the real scammers.
Process Servers DO NOT give you a heads up in regards to being served.
Process Servers also DO NOT take statements from your lawyer or you about being served -- their sole job is to give you papers and that is it.
You DO NOT need to identify yourself to be served with any form of ID. I know this because a few years back, process servers served papers to my Dad in regards to a federal court case.
Everything about this screams scam to me and I'm willing to bet you're one of the ignorant [***] running the scam.
I've reported this to my local police station and I have downloaded Trap A Call to my phone so I can better track the source if they should call again. I've also notified the Attorney General about this extortion scam. I'm also in a "one-party" state which means I am the only one that needs to be aware that I'm recording our conversations.
