Surveys are commissioned by an organization and run by a focus group company, like Decima Research. If you answer a survey, the first thing they do is qualify you. Your phone number, and any personal information you disclosed, then goes into their database. This company see your information as an asset and resource, and they will call you anytime you qualify for a new survey, which might be about a new breakfast cereal.
Once your in this loop, expect to get calls for the rest of your life or until you change your phone number. It's better to block the number then take their manipulative, weighted, and time consuming surveys. To them, you are just free content.
They will find out who I vote for when I vote, that is my "first world" prerogative. Otherwise, not knowing who they represent, or how the survey is skewed, I choose to block this number.
I am retired. I do NOT work for anyone - particularly minimum wage people that telephone all day long and demand personal information. They are ALL crooked, even the charities, political parties and surveys. If you answer, you become a "hot" prospect to be sold to the highest bidders and you will start to be called by all kinds of scams.
Take back your privacy. Get caller display and never answer unknown callers or numbers. Oh, and also shut off your ringer. I did and I love the peace and quiet I have all day long.
The faster that these people are out of work, the better the world will be.
