This stupid company is called Global? They call and never leave a message. I am a tenent who resides in a bsmt apt. My landlord who's number is private never would give my number to them as they tried to suggest.
They called and I phoned them back trying to explain politely and gave up polite very quickly. The lady implied I was lying. I am no relative, daughter, son or anything to landlord, just rent from him.
I told her this was the 3rd time calling me, and she said no it wasn't. The fact this chic knew how many x's they had called was insulting to me. They knew exactly how many x's they'd tried to contact this other party.
I told her they cannot reach the intended party by this number, and she just babbled through my talking. I did get angry and told her my 14 yr. old could get what I was saying, was she just ignoring me or stupid. I ended up telling them to not call, and I would be reporting it to Bell, ended the conversation by telling her I owed her Dic all, and hung up.
I'm not a relative, no relations to the party they wanted except I've lived here 14 yrs. and his phone is unlisted.
I'm the only number in the book, so they think they can reach him by me, they can't.
Jack [***], I'm done being anywhere polite with them, and I did report them to Bell Canada. I pay them to look after my interests and they had better.
I received several calls for somebody else from this number. When I called back, I found out
that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection. I found there website
( http://www.globalcollection.net/Consumers.aspx ) and contacted their main number. They
told me that they would remove my phone number from their files, and they did.
