They call and remind you that in the past xx months you purchased a computer service agreement with them and they are just going to check on your computer.
They asked if I was in front of my computer, yes I was. What did I see, my desktop. Then he asked what keys I saw on the bottom left of the keyboard. Did I see ctrl//alt. Yup they are there. At this point he must have figured I was on to him because he then called me a 'Stupid motherfxxxxx.
Funny he didn't hang up right way, I could hear others in the background. I called out to Apu, but he never came back.
Next time they call, I will simply tell them to wait a second it is in the other room and at that point I will just put the phone down and go about my day.
Received a call this AM from Jacob at Windows. Told him to go to the "warm place" down below. Best to block this number or play with the caller if you have time. Hate these scammers!
