I got a missed call from this number a couple days ago and decided to return the call. The person who picked up was an indian guy with a heavy accent. The first thing he asked me for was for my name. Then he told me that he works for Microsoft and that the reason why he called is because Microsoft had detected that I was using my computer to download movies illegally. I told him that it wasn't the case and that I don't use my computer for that. He said "well may be it was someone else who used my computer", then I told him that I'm the only person who uses it. Then he replied with "may be your computer is infected with viruses and that it was used to perform illegal activity by a third party". I told him that it wasn't the case and that my computer was clean. He kept throwing different things at me hoping that I would confess so that he could scare me into sending him money (or gift cards). Finally I told him that the number he was calling me from did not appear to be from Microsoft and that after I hung up, he should call me from a phone number registered under Microsoft. He said OK (with a defeated tone) and then I hung up. I never heard back from him again.
