Same crap as the first. This company is a scam. I tried to call it back but of course as the rest of the people reporting this number no one answers. They keep on calling my daughter who is under age and I can not get them to stop. A call block works but they end up leaving a message which becomes annoying. If there is a charge that arises from this I would be willing to testify.
Every few days this company calls & it is clearly a recorded / computer generated message. I have never answered it, but it leaves a voice mail that goes like this every single time:
Good day, this message is for <pause> (firstname last name computer-generated). I understand our company MJR Capital Services has left numerous messages & has not received a return call. My name is <sounds like "Veneeson Veninasoby" cannot understand name> and as manager I recommend you return my call today. My phone number is 1-844-743-7032. I repeat, 1-844-743-7032. Our company mailing address is unit 17-7033 Telford Way, Mississauga, Ontario, L5S 1V4.
I've never dealt with this company & never heard of it. The very 1st time we got this message, it said the same thing (including "has left numerous messages"). This has been happening for several weeks, if not months. Time to look into blocking some numbers even if it's going to cost extra money! Just for the peace of mind.
Have been getting same calls, even tried calling the number and either could not get through or sit on hold. MJR Capital appears to be a debt recovery service ( I looked up the address ). It smells of some sort of scam but Ive been getting this call about once a week since mid December.
I've been getting a call several times throughout the week for a few weeks now. When they do leave a message it's hard to understand and they are asking for a person who is not me. Googled online and found info for an MJR collections agency. Seems they are your typical collections agency conducting shady business practises to get paid. Absolutely do not give money to a company like less until you see so egging in writing from them.
Its also possible that the debt is real, its just not yours. Some deadbeat took out a loan he didn't plan to pay and gave a fake phone number in the loan application. That happened to me.
Tell the caller "[name] does not live here. You have GOT to stop calling." If the bill collector is legitimate that will stop them. If the calls continue that's proof that the caller is a scammer and you should block the calls.
