Calling to check if anyone in the bldg so they can break-in?
Scammers? if legit, they are stupid . Could just leave a simple message. IT'S NOT THAT DIFFICULT, PEOPLE  ( and BTW you are repeatedly calling an emergency # )

Another filthy, dirty, scum of the earth telemarketer, making calls to numbers that are registered with the DNCR (Do Not Call Registry) under the auspices of the C.R.T.C.  I think that maybe there is a use for ISIS in the civilized world, to get rid of unwanted calls made by telemarketers and/or their bots.  Seriously, the fines should be very high for this type of harassment.  I believe that the person in charge of the C.R.T.C. has failed Canadians terribly by not enforcing the fines and rules created to STOP unwanted calls of solicitation and the like. The Minister responsible for the C.R.T.C. that has failed Canadians terribly in this area is:  SHELLY GLOVER, MINISTER OF CANADIAN HERITAGE.   Canadians need someone that can actually do the job.  We need a new and effective "MINISTER OF CANADIAN HERITAGE" to enforce the laws already on the books for telemarketers, and severely fine those who violate them.   Email:    Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister.  [email protected]

Silly person - the Harper Conservatives contracted this job out (by a tendering process) to....Bell Canada.  One of the major telecomm companies that...you, guessed it, also abuses the list.  Especially with cell phones, which are also covered by the Registry.  This is a classic example of what happens when you do 'contracting out' - its not cheaper as they do it 'for profit' - so your taxes are paying for Bell to make money by not following the rules.  You want it to change?  Write your Federal MP and watch what you vote for in elections.
