Someone claiming to be from Visa. Claims there is a promotion to reduce interest rate to 3.9% from current rate that is above 11%. They had my name and address but I assume that is from yellow pages. They asked me to provide additional details on my account - expiry date, etc. I hung up. Called my bank to verify there is no on going promotion - there is not!
Just get a Panasonic cordless phone. It allow you to block up to 250 numbers plus all unknown or private number, also it can block up to 10 group numbers(enter "18" will block out all incoming calls start with 1-8**), I don't have any friends or relatives lived in 905 area, so I put "905" in the group block, all incoming calls start with "905" will be blocked.
rude PR's as they try to get credit card info from you by saying first your credit is good and your up for lower interest rates !!! then comes the question about your card .. when they don't get the info they hang up leave a few choice words .. Just another number where pain in the rump's got nothing better to do with their time .. And try to steal !!!! NON CANADIAN [***] ...blah blah
