Someone called me from this number claiming that their company had a mortgage on my house. The caller had an Indian accent so I needed to ask again the name of the company, but still could not understand. They claimed again that they have a mortgage and when I reiterated for the second time that there is no way their company has my mortgage they abruptly hung up.
I have reported this to the local police to pass onto their fraud investigation squad as this is clearly what the caller was intending. If it was a legitimate mortgage company as the caller claimed then I would be finding their number as listed rather than coming to this page!
Just got a call from this number. Like a PP they said I have mortgage with their company. He man had an indian accent and the connection was poor. Clearly it was not legitamate... he was very hesitant and unsure. I hung up.
He calls saying he from a company called "Kennedy...Mortgage company."
He had an Indian Accent.
He basically wants to save you money on your mortgage.
But what bothered me is he said that I have a mortgage on my property when I didn't. That got me rattled a little so I told him that I was going to record the conversation. He agreed..
He said the office is based in Pickering, Ontario.
Again all he said was that he was trying to save me money on my mortgage. Thats all.
Over harmless but I hate being bothered while having dinner.
