Text Scam provides a link at the end of the message. It's generic enough to scare anyone who doesn't read it too closely but uses the "Scotia" oddity without the "Bank" to really ding anyone who might have an account with Scotia Bank. The alleged number that mine came from was (604) 345-0634. I don't have an account with Scotia Bank and the number is not a Scotia Bank number
It's spam or a hacker. I recieve a text yesterday telling me that my BMO bank account have been closed pls log into this sight to resolve the problem . Loool. ..I don't have an account with them. So don't open the link
