The call proposed to refinance the mortrgage or something like that. This was my cell phone, pay-as-you-go plan, so I am spending 25 cents to get this garbage - disgusting!
Received several calls from this #. Finally answered and the guy asked to speak to "Andrew Weaver". Told him he had the wrong #. He then asked if I had a good # for him??? I told him I never heard of him and he said that he would remove the # from the file.....................we'll see what happens.
There is no 134 exchange in the 908 area. This is some kind of scam or someone who doesn't want to be called back. When I called the number I got a Verizon intercept recording saying that there was no such number, to please check the number and re-dial. It is illegal to falsify a caller ID number yet no way to track them. Why a company thinks that starting with a scam is a good way to instill confidence and build a business is beyond me.
