Caller ID showed "Name Unavailable" and no message was left on my answering unit.

I will report this as a violation to the "Do Not Call" registry.

I got a call from this number today. No one was there when I picked up. No hang-up, just dead air. I just filed a report with the Do Not Call registry.

the same here.  answered the phone.  nobody on the other end.  just dead air.  pretty much a waste of time to sign up for the 'do not call' list.

Rang my number, but did not leave a message. Area code is in NJ, exchange 149 looks like a spoof, so I suspect its the telemarketers/scammers operating under the name "ACE" who have been ringing my home line several times a day.

Blocked the number.
