this person is calling from india and gujrat state they all r scam and suspect of big siber crime their shoud be something done about this person
his real name is hardik parmar and if we want to catch this person just get the western union information and forward to cops and catch the person whoes a/c is it
It is a scam. they get your SSN and call you and say you are being investigated for fraud etc..... Also they call your work and tell your boss that you are being arrested
No it is not a collection Agency. It is all a scam. If any person calls you , especially with a forein voice and claims that they are seeking criminal litigation against you. The red lights and bells should be sounding in your head. NEVER give personal information over the phone. NEVER give them information, especially you address.
A man called my home today and said that I was being investigated for check fraud and that if I didn't pay the amount that they were asking for that a warrant for my arrest would be issued the next day at 12:00pm. They also had my ss# and my banking information.
A man with a heavy accent called from this number and gave the name of Travis Griffin. He said he was calling from "United Processing Legal Investigations" in NJ & gave the same story of needing to contacting an employee for fraudulent online activity. He was very short with me and after several attempts to call him back to get more detail, he said to stop bothering him with such calls or he would have to get rude.
This is clearly a scam as any legitimate agency would give you the time to ask questions and work with them. This individual didn't and kept hanging up on me.
