Got an Out of Area call on my Caller-ID. Didn't answer but got the tail end of the call on my answering machine. Turns out to be a recorded message telling me that I can get 25% off my carpet or upholstery cleaning and to press '0'.
I promptly added this number to my call blocker list of numbers that are blocked.

These people called my home with a recorded carpet cleaning message. When I hit "0" I got a rep who asked me if I'd like my carpet cleaned. I said, "No, please remove me from the list." She hung up on me, yet the recorded message was going on for several minutes and I could not use my home.
Very unprofessional and it took time out of my home-based business calls.
I star 69'd and got the number, yet when I tried to talk to the manager about this, I got a message that the number was out of service. I called *69 twice to make sure I wasn't making a mistake.
So that is why I am reporting them. Had I spoken to a manager and she apologized I would be a lot nicer and not report. Shame on them for their scam that won't work in my household!
