They called and asked if I wanted the interest rate on my credit cards lowered. I answered their call and told them I was on the d-n-c list. The guy said, "Have a nice day Mrs.? - and hung up on me. He knew my name. I'm so annoyed. What can we do to stop these fraudsters?
My (elderly) mother has been getting numerous calls from this number stating that there was an "urgent" problem with her credit card account. Since I pay all my mothers bills and I'm sure there are no issues with her account. Definitely a scam! I cannot stand these LOW LIFE LOSERS who prey on the elderly. I called my local Police Department to warn them of the scam going around.
