SCAM. This message has called me on a few different numbers. When I call it back to find out who it is it tells me to dial 83 to continue the call and no additional charges will be made. Then after a few seconds it says the same thing but to dial 14, I hung up after that. This same recording called me from 1-315-282-9181 and asked me to press 85 and then it hung up on me.
Called landline. Left no message. CID displayed Fanwood NJ. We NEVER answer ANY unsolicited call or number we do not recognize. A legitimate caller will leave a message with their name, company name and valid call back number. No message, the caller is rude, unprofessional, does not know proper phone etiquette, is annoying and suspicious. Call not important and ignored. Too many CRIMINALS, NOT telemarketers, are calling daily. They are trying to victimize whoever answers the phone.
Pissed off here. I missed the call from this number and no message was left. Normally, I would just ignore it. I don't return calls to numbers I don't know. But I have a 98-year-old neighbor whose son lives in NJ. Having had a conversation with him on a recent visit, I thought it might be him, so I broke my own rule and called back. I knew right away I should have stuck with my gut, when I got a recording that said to press 23 to continue the call. Needless to say, I hung up immediately. BLOCKED
