I have received a total of 191 unknown calls over the past year from phone numbers that originate in the New Jersey area (area codes, 973, 908, 201, 609, 856, 862), all hangups. Cooperative Communications provides the telephone service to these callers. Dial 201-531-9796 and ask to speak with Customer Service. Give them the most recent number that has pestered you and your phone number; they will contact the caller and demand that your number be removed from their robo-call list. The rep was very nice, very efficient and apologetic. Hopefully this will put an end to these unwanted, irritating contacts.
keep getting phone calls from Cooperative Communications landline from Unionville (Chester), NJ, but they don't respond when you answer the phone and the calls are annoying and unwanted. since I'm on the "do not call list" they should not be calling at all.
It appears others have the same problem. question is how to make them stop.
