This is one of the GoogleVoice #'s employed by MoneyGram scammers to attempt to rip off 'rental wanted' advertisers, and other inventive scams. This is a major problem for people who haven't learned the lesson of not sending money to people who answer their ad with bogus deals from out of State; they employ text messaging, e-mails with great sounding offers and hard-to-believe deals that seem legit, until you wire them the cash & it's gone. Most similar scam's originate from Nigeria, Europe, etc. Google will not even return callers complaints and the FBI so busy with these they do nothing for smaller amount loses, such as those only in the hundreds. Another # is 505 289-0813, and 580 355-3685 and on & on. Never wire cash to anyone you don't know for any reason. I was alerted at the Western Union window at Walmart by a great girl who refused to sell me the MoneyGram for which I had cash in hand, telling me after I told her the story, that I was definitely being scammed. You are VERY lucky that the lady at the Western Union counter was there to protect you. It is the tell tale sign of a rental/vacation rental scam. The use of a cash wire transfer service. NO real business uses this form of payment. It is NEVER to be used for an internet purchase, loan offer, gift, prize, or to send money to someone you do not personally know. Never! Next to prepaid credit cards it is the payment of choice for criminal scammers.
