I got a call from this number. Originally the guy spoke spanish. When I explained that no one in our house spoke english, he changed to English. He is calling for David Wright, who is my ex husband and I have know knowledge where he would be. When I explained this he called me a liar and told me that as his wife I was responsabile for the debt. When I inquired about the debt, he told me that since I told him that I am his EX wife, he does NOT live here and that I don't have his address - he can't disclose the nature of the debt. He assured me that he "will call weekly until David accidentally answers the phone". I just laughed and quoted the legal statute that allows me to tell him not to call back and remove our number from his list. He kept talking, so I hung up,.
guy said he was from Pinnacle, had my name right...trying to collect for City Furniture. Told him I never bought anything from City Furn...& that I was well aware of pinnacle . (THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR INPUT) I asked him address of who he wanted...gave me another address. Told him Not me...etc.etc....wanted my DOB...told him I give nothing over the phone...someonel else with SAME NAME....MAY BE THE ISSUE WITH MANY OF YOU OUT THERE...Collection fools don't even try detective work I guess....just call everyone with same name,etc. Very rude,etc...I said if he worked for me he would not even get paid....said ' like you did not pay City Furniture???!!. KEPT TRYING TO GET ME TO AGREE THAT HE CAN PUT DOWN "REFUSED TO PAY" . Told him...NO, that is not what I am saying...You are calling the wrong person...end of conversation...hung up.
