I am on Arizona Time (AZT). This call was made to my cell at about 9:30 am ET which translates to 7:30 am AZT. I answered and said nothing to see what, if anything, the caller would say. Nothing was said by the caller and the call was terminated within 30 or 40 seconds after I picked up. This leads me to believe that there is some device making such calls at random. If a voice is detected on the other end, the calling device apparently transfers the call to a live person immediately. Though I cannot say for certain, I get the impression this was a sales call. Lately, I have received a number of calls from NJ numbers which if answered produce a female voice on the other end which states "This is Allison from the warranty department, can you hear me okay?" If you say yes, Allison continues with a long-winded, scripted message which she will not permit you to interrupt with questions. It is important to remember Allison will not begin speaking till you indicate your presence on the line. To avoid another message from Allison or a similar caller I said nothing. It is important to note my number is on the "Do Not Call" list which apparently means nothing to such callers.

Answered because local area code, 908-363-1868... Caller said congratulations, because you stayed in our resort in the past... I have never stayed in a resort, no vacations in 30 years, hung up.
