Who called from 9083642921

A call from this number continues to contact me.  Some indian man gets on the phone saying he is from the american compensation regarding a claim. When I ask to speak to a supervisor he hangs up on me.  I have asked them to stop contacting me, and it has not stopped.  Can this be looked into?

Sounds like a garden variety debt scamming operation to me.

About all you can do is invest in a call blocker.  Not perfect, but it can help.

Also, you do not want to be picking up on call numbers you do not recognize.

There's no way to stop the calls from being initiated.Calls come from India and Pakistan and they spoof local numbers.

There are no "supervisors"; they are all hard core scammer/extortionists working in the same stewpot.  Ignore and block.

Called asking for my FIL who has been dead for 5 years.  Then asked for the owner of the phone number and promptly hung up on me when I said it was me.  Connection was very static and caller had a thick middle eastern accent.

A  middle eastern sounding voice,he kept asking for different people and I said that I am contacting police as he rerplied "no no!!"........also the call came from Union N.J.

Got call from this number, did not answer and blocked #.. Per above notes, I'm glad I did.  Sometimes for fun I answer with Pasco County Sheriff's Office, how may I direct your call?  They hang up pretty quick after that.
