I just called the number back and it isna fund raiser for NJ Police. I donate tons to the police.
Any fundraisers do not have to adhere to the Do Not Call List. That's bull.
I tell them that I had my identity stolen once and the police did SQUAT to stop the person. I tell them that a police department that gives tickets for driving but cant catch a real criminal is bull and if they want to come talk to me about it feel free but I would step over one because they are all idiots.
ps: I had to submit my crime to the internet crimes division. I said, "they opened a paypal account" and they guy said....wait wait slow down, what is paypal?
