Received 6 calls in 5 minutes at lunchtime on 08-27-14. Nothing but dead air on the other end each time. This is a scam, for sure, and we will need some laws with teeth to diminish these annoyances. Call your stage Attorney General and your member of Congress and ask for this to be included as part of consumer protection legislation.
Some lady from peddling a prescription cure-all pain cremé. She wanted to know if anyone in the house suffered from pain. I told her I did. She said they had a magic cremé for pain. I asked her who she represented and who made the magic cremé. She said she was with "Member Services" and acted like I should know who that was. She ignored the question about who made the magic eight-ingredient pain creme. Then she wanted to know if I had insurance. I told her I did. She said they would fax the prescription to my primary care doctor to be approved. Then she wanted to know if I had private insurance or medicare/medicaid. I told her I had medicare. She asked if I had any other insurance because it's a Federal crime to defraud medicare. A search of the internet fails to find an eight active ingredient pain creme made by anyone. I think she might have been a crook.
