Description:
• Raytheon AST is searching for a Data Center Systems Administrator to perform in our Sunnyvale Office. This individual will be responsible for performing a full range of IT functions for classified areas, managing and maintaining Windows systems and servers, as well as the localized Cisco network infrastructure.
• This position ensures that system hardware, operating systems , software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational and security based policies. This position will also be responsible for the maintenance and support of all data centers at the AST mission area.
• Other typical duties that will be performed by this position are: collaborating with staff, users and senior management on establishing IT goals, reviewing new and existing IT projects, systems designs and plans, and conducting research on emerging technologies to support changes in infrastructure. They will also interface with users and system engineers to resolve technical and user issues.
• This position will work in the Sunnyvale office with minimal supervision and will report to an IT Manager located in the same facility.
• This position also requires an active Top Secret Clearance
