i also received a recorded message saying "I had been approved for a $1)00.00 loan. To accept press 1 to decline and have your number removed press 9". No company name was announced in the message. I have not applied for any loans from this area code. Also in the past I have been a victim of identity theft.
I did not call back, but blocked the number so that the calls go directly to voicemail.
A robocall advising that I was approve for a payday loan. Nobody applied for a payday loan. If there was a real person on the other side - I would be speaking those special words.
We have to be extra careful because I live with my mother who has "ADVANCED DEMENTIA" & that's dangerous specially telemarketers scammers.
