they called me so i have been calling them over and over all day and asked all of my friends to call them too, the rep there Aaron Gumps informed me that my mother was a [***] after they figured out that 1 i wasn't going to stop calling them and 2 they weren't getting any money from me. I WILL NOT STOP CALLING THESE BOTTOMFEEDERS UNTIL I CALL THERE AND AND THAT NUMBER IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE.
I received a voice mail from a guy named "Mike" saying he has bad news for me. My social security number is under investigation and it will be on hold if I didn't call him back in 24 hours then he wishes me the best of luck trying to get out of this situation. I called the number back asking him what exactly he is talking about because I looked up this number and it is listed in New Jersey. I live in Louisiana. He knew all of my personal information and when he asked me to confirm them, I told him no. He said I was a fraud because they received a claim against me for not paying a payday loan. So now I am being sued. He hung up on me twice and would not tell me the name of the Payday loan lender. All I heard was Cash Advanced before he hung up the phone. He also told me he'll see me in court on Monday... I don't even live in NJ. This is really scary because the only time I even tried to find a loan was for school loans. I don't even know how he has this information. So please beware and contact your local authorities. He is extremely rude!!
This is a total scam. You must of applied for something online...car loan, payday loan or something. These companies sell your info to other companies. These companies may not even be real companies but have a fake company name...then they purchase your info. I guarantee that every time they call you or you call them...they have an Arabic accent...correct? They are not even in the United States. They are scammers.
We also have been receiving the exact same phone calls. When we ask who this is and try to get some details out of the person all they can say is we didn't pay a payday loan. We did one payday loan about 4yrs ago and paid it when it was due but ever since then we get the same kind of call every year. We've told them time after time that its been paid and we have the reciept that shows its paid. They say we'll see you in court. Now we just tell them to go ahead and sue us and bring us to court cuz we have all the proof we need.
i thought it was about a current loan i have and they scared me by saying i'd be sued. i contacted the loan people and they do not know who these people that are calling are...the loan place told me NOT TO PAY them ANYTHING. they also ask to "confirm" personal info. if they keep calling me tomorrow i will tell them off. it is a scam...they from another country with heavy accents stating their names are AARON GOMES & MELVIN from McKinley Law Firm in NJ...freaking scammers...as if life isnt hard enough now.
