The number is from Vector Marketing in Scotch Plains, NJ. They do not even tell you their company name unless you ask them because of their poor reputation of attempting to lure you into selling their products. The company calls to tell you that you can get a marketing job for Vector's knives and scissors and earn a decent amount of money immediately. In reality, the job requires you to ask your own friends if they want to buy these knives or scissors. Basically, it's not actually a legitimate job that you can place on your resume and you only get paid whenever you sell these things. Furthermore, Vector asks you to give them all your friends' phone numbers so that they can call them as well. Truthfully, this is a load of garbage when these people tell you that you can "work for them" and make a decent wage.
Furthermore, Google "Vector Marketing" and look at the first results and you will understand why they are not trustworthy.
