I contacted a home repair company on the internet. Soon after, number from Mentone begins calling. Middle Aged Woman (slight southern drawl, lots of sarcastic "Bless Yous" throughout) continues to call. I told her I'm not interested. Calls ratcheted up to include name calling, intimidation. Call today ended with a threat to send representative to my address; I suppose to strong arm me into buying something. Best advise...never answer. Better yet, request huge remodeling quote and give incorrect address...Lady will flip.
Caller didn't leave a message on my machine and the caller id said "Out of Area" which usually means telemarketer/scammer since every legitimate caller I know leaves a message. So I ran 3 reverse traces using 3 different types of traces and all were blocked for a person or business name and the only information was a general location of Menton, California using the service providers of Sprint PCS, Sprint Spectrum L.P. and Pac-West Telecomm Inc. This is definitely a scammer that is either spoofing numbers and/or using a VoIP System to phish for personal information while running some scam. A legitimate business would never hide their identity and location from the public by blocking a trace. DON'T ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL BACK FOR ANY REASON. Block and report to the proper authorities. Phone companies should be held responsible for these types of calls since they are making money from them by providing the systems and services that these scammers use and possibly farming out numbers too.
They called my unlisted landline phone yesterday afternoon (Saturday, 15 October 2016) around 4:30 PM PDT. I did not answer and they did not leave a message. I looked here (800notes.com) and searched the internet, but found nothing. Because it might have been an accidental wrong number or a legitimate call, I did not post here.
They called again today (Sunday, 16 October 2016) at 4:04 PM PDT. This time I answered, thinking that it might be one of several wood flooring companies that I visited yesterday. It was not a wood flooring company. Instead, a recorded voice came on, saying, "Please answer a few questions for voter research." I hung up before hearing anything more. I assume it was some type of political call. Whatever it was, I didn't want it.

Just got a call from this number and ignored it since I didn't recognize it. Left no message. Blocked! Thanks to those that have posted here for the information. :-)
