Got a phone call from these guys claiming  I owed a debt. I received calls about this from a different collector. After I finally got them off my back. These guys started calling me on a daily basis. I explained to them that the statute of limitations for this supposed debt is 4 years for this type of debt if I even took out this loan, which I didn't. They keep claiming that they're going to send someone to my house to serve me papers to be subpoenaed to court. Asking me to confirm my phone number Social Security number address Etc. I asked if they had my correct address and the response was no we need that so we can have you served. I didn't give it to them, or any other info for that matter. I don't understand how someone can file legal paperwork with no current address. Or without even complete information. Or why they would call me to confirm anything. Most lawyers have a private investigator find the information for them and then have you served. Am I correct? Anyways I found out these people are using a VoIP phone number based out of Norwood California and supposedly have a place of business in Buffalo New York and would not give me a physical address to send them a letter to stop calling me. Only first names no last names of anyone in the company including the supposed manager. Mike Mark and Linda. And not one of them could speak very good English.
