Received a phone call from that number today. With a women asking if I could hear them. Don't ever call back these unknown callers. They can then establish that it's a working number and attempt the same again with a different number.
Called, I did not answer, no msg left. Regarding Matt's note above and the "Can you hear me," I have found that this is a ploy to get you to speak and to make you think there is a live person on the line; when YOU speak, the automated system registers the call as "answered." There follows a recorded message: NO LIVE PERSON is there. I now interrupt with something like "Please say 'Pinnochio'." The automated system cannot deal with this. It CAN deal with a "yes" or "no" question. But if you ask something that cannot be answered "yes" or "no," you foil the system. "What is the first line of the nation anthem?" Incidentally, I have also encountered, "Hello, hello?--Oh, I'm sorry; I was having a problem with my headset," again with the goal of fooling you into believing a live person is on the line.
