Got a call from Dan who was pitching energy savings. He got mad when I told him I was registered with Do Not Call. Said he was looking "right at the list". What a liar, since I have been on for 10+ years (I even double checked it today. Once registered, always registered says the Federal Trade Commission. (Number where you can register is 888-382-1222)

Scammers are always lying. When you hear a lie, don't argue with them, hang up and block their number so it won't pester you again.
And some legitimate businesses and their "telephone promotion specialists" are clods, and it takes a lawsuit to "set them straight" - but you have to find them first to sue them.
