Now first of all - I am not calling a number that doesn't tell me the reference number to call about. Secondly, I am not calling a number that has called me 3 times today with the same exact message - "FINAL NOTICE" - it if is a final notice, why do they keep calling?
I attempted to go to the IRS.GOV site, and their number to report scams like this is so overloaded, I could not get through to someone to verify whether this by some odd chance is real. There was an email address, so I gave them the number and a recording of the calls - so irritating. I blocked the call both times it called me, and the last time, it bypassed ringing my phone and went straight to my VM!
