I received a call from 910-225-5605 asking for my husband. I told them that the number they called was my phone number and I wasn't who they asked for. The lady got rude and finally hung up on me. Is this really a scam?
Very rude person identified themselves as a debt collectos. Didnt give full name but said they were with DRS attempting to collec t on a debt 12 years old...they found my number by using a "skip tracer". I am NOT the person they were looking for and had them add me to the DNC list
Same here, they asked for a woman that we have no idea who they were and I googled the number and sure enough found a post. More bottom feeders trying to make a quick buck.
call looking for someone I dont even know and you can say anything or answer them. They keep going on about a debt and who are you they need to send papers out within 24 hrs. My thing is why don't they send the papers out and stop calling.......
8/15/12 I received the call for the first time. I did not answer. the person ID himself as Mr. Shaw and said it was a mater of extremely important to call back. I don't have a clue who they are.
One call yesterday, Mr. Tyson, extremely important message left on machine. Call came from 910-225-5617. Googled and found similar messages to those on this site. Again this am, same name and message....required to say he was attempting to collect a debt....from 910-225-5605 this time. Have not answered and will not. Have given up on DNC. Just screen all calls from now on. It's a shame we have to live like this.
