continuos calls with no message

They have called several times. They called again on a Sunday afternoon at 1:36 PM PST.

Got a missed call. No VM. Looks like Phishing.

Call came on caller ID as "Local Area Call"  1-910-249-4840 said my name twice and asked if I was there, then hung up.

I do not answer calls that I don't recognize the number.  What is the use of the " do not call" program, is hasn't stop
all the "unavailable" and "no number" calls.

got a call from this number this morning.  i don't answer when it's a number i don't know and they left no message.  Caller ID said "Clinton, NC"
