Called me around 12-1-12 and said my computer was generating errors and she would tell me what to do if I am in front of my computer. I was afraid that it may be a scam so I hung up and then tried calling the number back and after a long time ringing, the gal that answered sounded foreign and the sound of the background didn't sound like a professional office but more like overseas.????

got this call 1-7-13 from 910-292-9720...said my computer was sending errors and he would tell me what to do if i am in front of my computer, didn't fall for that one, hung up .......
Got a call from 210-280-8487 telling us our computer was hacked and infecting other computers. My spouse got a first name and number for me to call back - was this number (910-292-9720). Figured it was a scam and did not call.
*** However *** our ISP blocked our email accounts, because they were hacked and sending out viruses. Note that we dealt DIRECTLY with our ISP to restore access and NEVER dialed either of these numbers. I wonder if the hacker was calling us based on the information they had hacked into...
I am curious to know if anyone else had ISP problems around the same time they received these calls.
