Received a call from 585-243-9768 and left a message to call 910-378-4748 because the IRS is going to post a lawsuit against me. This is a scam. Our filings aren't even under my name first so I wouldn't be the one notified AND the IRS does not contact people in this format. Don't call the number!!!!
Thank you so much for letting everyone about it. I got the same call from both # and the same exact message. I was going to call them back because I wasn't for sure or not if it was a scam.

Got a call from a lady pretending to be the IRS and threatening a lawsuit against me unless I called 910-378-4748. Obviously, this is a scam without even looking any further as I know for a fact that the IRS doesn't call anybody. I just thought the authorities should be looking into this to find out who these people are who are victimizing particularly the helpless and uninformed seniors who are unaware of such scams.
