I had been receiving calls several times a day from 910-225-5917 for two weeks straight. It comes up as Lumberton, NC. No message is ever left but when you call it back a recording says CBE Group. I blocked the number only to start getting calls from another: 910-225-7181 also from Lumberton. Blocked that one as well. An hour later it was 910-225-7150. A message is never left, so I called this latest number back and it's the same CBE Group. I stayed on the line long enough to get a live person who sounded as if they were from India, obviously not NC. I asked why they were calling me and they then proceeded to tell me my correct home address and asked if this was also my mailing address.  I said no that this was incorrect. I asked again who they were and what kind of company it was and all she would say is that they handled business matters. So I hung up. The scary thing is that the address they had was correct, but how they have my current address I do not know because I just moved to this location. I've looked up CBE Group and it is a debt collection agency but they outsource to third parties. As I pay my bills, I would say that this is some phishing group using CBE as a cover to scam people for money. I have blocked all of the numbers thus far. If you go to the FBI website there are articles warning about these so-called companies that seem to have gotten your personal information including relatives names and phone numbers. NEVER EVER VERIFY OR GIVE THEM YOUR INFO! Block the numbers that call you. Tell family and friends to do the same. These people would rather steal and scam money from innocent people rather than getting legitimate jobs. Please protect your private information. Be careful everybody.
