Received this call yesterday 01-25-16 @ 12 noon. Caller ID showed "Ft Bragg, NC." I'm at the other end of the state! I guarantee it's just another telemarketer crap call.
Received a call today (01-26 @ 11:12 AM; same number but didn't show the Area Code; the remainder of the number was the same. An hour and a half later I got another call but this time it showed only "Anonymous Call" so it's probably the same bunch of scammers.
I had called the FTC a couple weeks ago to report some calls I was receiving every day. The agent I spoke to told me the best thing to do was to lift the receiver just enough to release the button then immediately hang it up. I've been doing that and it seems to help!

I keep an ongoing list of harassing calls; I've received three calls from this number:
252-396-7660 Unavailable Rocky Mount, NC area; No info. Likely scam
on Jan 15, 21, and 22. As shown it's the same number with different area code. Couldnt' find any additional information. The info above is from the ongoing list I'd mentioned earlier. I include the day of the week, the date, and the time of the call plus the above info with each one I log, all on one line across the page [landscape orientation]. .
After I get two pages full (one sheet front & back) or so, I send it to the FTC after which I don't receive any further calls from the numbers on the list! Seems to work quite well!
