i get this call multiple times a day. my wife actually already had this company come out too. after a grueling 2-3 hour demonstration i simply said no thanks, in which the actual rep (who the demonstrator called using my phone) insulted my poor decision to not buy the water filter product and commented on how she would have chosen to keep HER daughter safe from chemicals. i hate this company with a passion and wish they would just leave me alone. vie told them multiple times to stop harassing me and now i get phone calls with a quick hang up before i can even say take me off of the calling list. someone please find a way to stop the 7,8 + calls a day
BTW, you don't get the $500 gift certificates unless you buy
Caller said they are welcoming me to the area. They want to do a free water test and have several "gifts" for me including a $500 gift certificate to my favorite grocery store. They wanted to know if I lived with a husband or significant other. They want to come out next Monday 12/14/09 between 7 and 8 pm. They are "booked out" and have no earlier appointments. Asked if I have any other filtration devices in the house. When I asked for a phone number from them they said that it just goes to a call center so the actual person coming to the house would probably never get the message.
Oh, yeah she said this is completely free of obligation " Absolutely no strings attached" Something isn't right....I am sure the $500 certificate would probably only be valid if you bought their water filtration unit. I checked the internet for others receiving similar calls from Echo Water and all seemed leary....one said they do test the water, but of course they find out your water is bad and have an overpriced $7000.00 $8,000.00 water system to sell but if you signed up right then they gave you a $500 off coupon and other discounts. Doesn't sound good. Beware. Oh yeah...I just signed up for the Time Warner Cable package which includes a land line phone and that phone instantly started receiving telemarketer calls 4 to 5 per day.

These people called and said something about Sam's Club having a free window installation check to see if we have properly insulated windows. They also tried to make an appointment for me and I did not feel comfortable telling them where I live. Their number showed up under an Angela Cusaac or something like that.
I also received multiple calls from this number which I did not answer at first. I called back the number and they had a survey about my water but they also want to know how many people live in the house and when do you get home from work. They said they would not come out for a demonstration and testing of the water unless my husband was there. I explained that they did not want him there because he was not a pleasant person. They said that when they came out they would give me a gift of coupons worth $200 towards products for my home plus they would give me a gift bag of their H2O products. I told them I would much rather have my daughter here because she lives close by and has a new house and might want her water tested as well. They said they would give me $100 cash if my daughter was here as well but my husband must be here. I am sure that they do want to sell me something but I also and totally suspicious of why they want to know when someone is home.
