At 11:06 this morning I received a call about getting a new meter for diabetes.  Without realizing, I gave information about my husband.  His name and the Doctor and his date of birth.  When the man asked me for his social security number from off of his red,white and blue card I knew something was not right.
I told him I could not give him this information so he hung up on me.  I don't know if it was going to be idientity fraud or medicare fraud.  I called my insurance company and this was definitely fraud.
