Received a call from this number. Left no message. Supposedly from Anita M. Smith (I received 3 crank calls yesterday from a "Hyacinth Smith" in Florida). I called this Anita Smith back and a distant recorded voice stated "system -- enter code." I hung up and blocked this number. There has been a rash of fake calls these past months from various numbers. It's getting boring.

Someone called from number display Smith Anita M... the person on the phone sounded foreign stated he called regarding malware on computer sounded like a scam hung up
Called at 8 this morning. I only answered because my hubby had worked all night and was trying to get some sleep. It was the same old farce... Foreign person calling "from Microsoft". Didn't give him the opportunity to say any more & just hung up. Wish they'd find legitimate work somewhere and leave all of us alone. Obviously they use fake names on the caller ID so people answer.
I had three missed calls on my cell phone from this number yesterday, and I decided to answer today when they called. The man claimed to be calling because of something about malicious files on or coming from my windows computer. I asked who are you and how'd you get my number, wouldn't really answer the question. I told him I didn't have a windows computer, he insisted I check a computer id number, tells me to go to my computer and he starts giving me the number, and I say "if something were wrong with my computer, I wouldn't be getting a call from wherever you are calling from." He hung up, I blocked number.
