Received a similar call on 6-16-17 at 6:32 pm; I received an ‘electronic or computer-generated’ phone message in a female voice on my home phone stating that: the IRS has made two prior attempts to contact me (which they had not), that this call was the final attempt, and that I (my name was not mentioned) was being sued by the IRS. I was directed to call the IRS using the following phone number: 912-304-4366. This phone number originates from Lumber City, GA, and there does not appear to be an IRS office in that region.
Got one also this afternoon 4:58PM from Lumber City GA. IRS scam. Recorded message, man's voice, very nasty gruff, intimidating soundng voice. Said he was from the IRS tax fraud department. They have finished my investigation and they are demanding me to call this same number back within 24 hours or a warrant would be issued for my arrest. I hung up at that point and blocked the number.
Got the same call today at 5:37 and it was a recording. I looked the number up the best I could and all I found was lumber city, Georgia. Said something about tax fraud and I was hiding something from the IRS and I needed to contact them at the same number.
Received automated phone call from this number with female voice at 5:40pm 6/16/2017. Said that they have been trying to contact me because they are suing me. Good Luck Deuchebags!
