Received a call asking if my mother wanted to sell her property in Deming New Mexico. Stated that they had interested developers and the property could sell for up to $80000 for 2 acres. When asked what the fee would be the answer was $998. Before obtaining the documents to proceed with listing the property, they wanted the $998 to be paid by credit card. They were told that we would not pay them a dime until the property was sold. Thanks but "No Thanks".
Thereafter, looking for info on Vacant Land America I found all the other information advising not to do business with this company. We didn't, and don't intend to.

Received a call from this number (Al Smith) who left a message about our property. I searched on Google and found the number listed on this website. I also found the Vacant Land America on here with bad reviews. I returned a message asking him not to call me back, but he did. He claimed to have no knowledge of this website's bad reviews and said they must have been written by disgruntled employees. I also told him his number came up on a myspace search and led to a very unattractive myspace page, which he also denied. After this conversation, he unbelievably said "What about our contracts? Haven't you already sent us some money?" We said no, that we had had exactly two phones call with him, that we never would trust his company and ended the call.
