They got my voice mail. The first time they didn't realize it was voice mail; the prerecorded message played and then a man answered, "Hello this is Matt Barnes with the awards and prizes Division, how can I help you?" he finally realized that no one was there and hung up. The second time they called (8 minutes later), Matt Barnes was trying to sound very official but was stumbling all over himself trying to imply that he had some sort of authority without actually giving himself a title or identifying himself as an officer of the law. He said that he had been authorized to conduct an investigation into my "account" to verify my source of income and that if I didn't want this to be "processed" against my name and my SSN (he had the last four) I should call him back to avoid any type of "judgement". The caller IDs were different: first call was 704-625-9297, second was 912-342-2407.
