Is this really a scam.i got an email from sharon warden saying that they will sue me.the email has my ss number and my employer.can someone pls answer me.
Email is not a legal method of debt validation. Read up on the FDCPA and learn your rights. http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection
These people sound like scammers who have gotten ahold of your personal information. Do not give them access to your bank account or pay them a dime until they have validated the alleged debt as outlined in the FDCPA. Bet they won't be able to properly validate anything.
