I just got a call with caller id 1-912-480-4474. This is evidently a fake caller id, a ruse to get you to answer because you think its a local call. It was an Indian accent, lots of noise and I had told him to call me back. But then I tried that number because I figured it was a scam, and the number is not in service. I will just save it in my phone and make the ring tone 'silent', and they cannot bother me. I do this to a number and I NEVER answer it. I get a voice mail and I can tell in .5 second that it's an idiot, and therefore a bill collector. I delete it without even listening. They cannot get to you if you follow this method.
I have been called at least thrice by this number. The first two times i didn't pick up and the caller didn't leave any message.
The third time i picked it up i could make out that there is someone on the other side, but the other side kept quite.
