Looks like a fresh new number for the spammers to use. Calling about "credit card account", when I don't use this number for my credit cards. Classing phishing attempt. Here's the transcript below for your amusement. They talk about this is "your final notice", yet they want you to press 2 to stop the calls. Well, if it is my final notice, why do I need to stop them? Morons. Do not press anything, that will flag your line as a live line, and you will get all sorts of spam!
[Bubbly voice of someone who should probably cut back on the sugary drinks]
I'm calling about your Credit Card Account. There's no problems currently with your account. It is urgent, however, that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rates to as little as 6.9%. Your eligibility expires shortly, so please consider this your final notice. Please Press 1 now on your phone to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rates, or press 2, to discontinue further notices. Thank you and have a great day.

"How can people use Verizon wireless numbers that get disconnected right after they are used?"
They can't. These are obviously fake callerids. Obviously illegal to do so.
Our telecom system should be rearchitected to have the path of a call. That way, you trace the source of the spam call. Sort of like full headers in email.
A recorded robocall. A lot of useless blather about lower your credit card interest rate. They say "your eligibility expires shortly, so please consider this your final notice". But they're just teasing, they'll be sure to call again and again and again
